New to Lacrosse

Did you hear about Lacrosse from a friend or neighbor and want to find out more? Is your son or daughter looking to try a new, exciting sport? Are you wondering how to get started?

First, you're in the right spot. Lil' Ballers Lacrosse will offer 3-on-3 leagues and camps for both boys and girls at the youth level (ages 7 to 14). We are also well versed in coaching high school aged players and will work with those players looking for high-level customized training.

If you have a child that is interested in lacrosse, have them check out one of our free intro clinics (ages 7-14). The LiL' Ballers Lacrosse website has a tremendous amount of information, so please read through the content and Q&A. If you can not find what you are looking for, just email Coach Murphy and he'll be happy to chat with you.

Lacrosse is the fastest growing youth sport in the country right now, but it is never too late for a kid to start playing. Don't worry if your kid has never played lacrosse before, as they will have plenty of company in the Chicagoland area. A lot of kids have only recently picked up a stick, and every year we will have more new kids join the LBL program.  Here are links to PDFs of girls and boys youth lacrosse books from US Lacrosse. This is a great resource for parents and players that would like to learn the game.

Please note: Some rules have been modified since the production of this video. Nonetheless, we hope you’ll find the video to be helpful in your understanding of the game.
